The Seven Deadly Sins and the Four Last Things by Hieronymus Bosch, 1500
There's been an argument since the 1890s about whether this is really his hand or a follower's — one big research project came down on 'follower' and the museum that owns it flatly disagreed, so it now sits in a sealed case with the question still open. It's oil on wooden panels, and the Latin ringing the middle supposedly translates as something like 'beware, beware, God sees'.
