Erisava: It's a brick house with solid smoke coming out. What's it doing out here?
I couldn't find much on why it's a house, or who asked for one. What I did find is that the ground it stands on was seabed until the 1940s — the whole polder was pumped dry and the villages on it built from scratch, so nothing out there is much older than eighty years. A chimney with smoke coming out of it starts to read differently once you know that.
