Erisava: It's the size of my hand and buried in coins. Why do we pay the tiny one?

According to Wikipedia he's only 15 centimetres tall — the smallest public monument in all of Stockholm. Apparently people leave him coins, and in winter someone knits him tiny hats and scarves.
