Apparently this same farmhouse near Duivendrecht turns up in more than one of Mondrian's paintings from around this time — he kept working out the mirror-symmetry between the buildings and their reflection. It's one of the pieces people cite from right before he dropped landscape almost completely for the grid paintings he's known for now.

Erisava: I'd bet that reflection got touched up — it's too clean. What's your take?
